Tansmith Return Policy:
For a limited period of time, Tansmith is offering Free Return Shipping to all orders shipped with in 48 contiguous United States. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason with your purchase, we will be glad to assist you with your returns. All unworn merchandise may be returned in its original packaging/undamaged condition along with all hand tags, labels, shoe support/shoe bag and bottom portion of the receipt, with in 15 days from the date of purchase. Refunds will be made in the manner in which the payments were originally processed.
Note: Items purchased at a Tansmith Retail stores, Department stores and Specialty stores can not be returned to our online store. We will only accept returns of items purchased on
Our Return Policy does not apply to items on clearance. These items are considered final sale and are not returnable or refundable.
Return Instructions:
Before wearing your designer shoes outside, please try them on a carpeted surface only. This will ensure refund in the event you are not 100% satisfied.
To return an item purchased on, log onto to My Account page and look for Order History page. If you are processing your return with in time frame (15 days) you will see process my return tab next to the items you recently purchased on the Order History table. Simply choose the item you wish to return from that order no. and proceed to process my return.
Follow these steps, to ready your packet, to be dropped off with the carrier agent:
  • Pack the unused and undamaged item(s) in original condition securely as received, in the original product packaging to ensure credit. Remember to include all tags/labels, shoe travel bags etc.
  • Before closing the shipping carton make sure to insert the lower half of your invoice so as to help us recognize your order no. and co-relate your refund.
  • Gently remove or cover the original shipping label from the outside of the carton with the new shipping labels received via e-mail or snail mail, before dropping off your packet to the nearest carrier’s location.
  • Make sure to retain the Tracking Number receipt to monitor delivery status and ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.
Returns Rules & Regulations:
  • Returns must be made within 15 days after delivery of your order.
  • The unused/undamaged items must be returned in original condition with all tags attached to ensure credit. Please pack return in their original boxes.
  • Expedited Shipping and other charges are non-refundable.
  • In case of shipping damages, please notify Tansmith and the carrier immediately at the time of receipt of the merchandise.
  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 21 days of our receiving your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.
  • Items purchased at departmental store and specialty store cannot be returned to our online store.
  • All Clearance items purchased on are considered final sale and are not returnable or refundable.
Items Not Eligible For Return:

  • Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse staff (usually within 72 hours of receipt), we will process your refund and automatically apply a credit to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 3-9 business days after your credit is applied and posted to your account.
  • Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.
  • Adjustments to credit cards should appear within two billing cycles.
  • Credit for gift returns will be issued only to the original purchaser.
Damaged or Defective Items Upon Delivery:
If there is extensive damage to the carton upon delivery, please notify immediately of any damage or loss to the contents along with order number, phone no and tracking no to the Customer Care Representative at 866-826-7648. The appropriate notations must also be made on the delivery receipt.
We will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return and will cover all return shipping charges. You will also be refunded the purchase price, sales tax and original shipping fees if any for the damaged/defective item.
To order a replacement item, you must place a new order immediately. You may do this at any time. Unfortunately, we cannot automatically reorder a new item for you. Wrong Item, Color or Size:
We at make all efforts humanly possible to ship you the right product at right time but still if by mistake you receive the wrong item, or if the item you receive is different from what you originally ordered, please contact our Customer Care Department immediately at 866-826-7648. It is important that you contact us before returning your item, so that we may assist you with your returns.
Before you call, please have your order number available. If you do not know your order number, please visit the Order History page on My Account. Please be prepared with a detailed description of the difference between the items you ordered and the item you received.
Unlike other online retailers we do not save your credit card information with us for security reasons which means we can not process any exchange based on credit card used by you. If you wish to exchange an item, simply return the item by following the Return Instructions and re-order a new item immediately before we are sold out on your style/size/color on
Seeing double… Based on your billing cycle you may see two transactions on your credit card or debit card statement: a debit for your original purchase and a charge for your replacement purchase. Please be patient, it may sometime take up to two billing cycles for the credit transaction to appear on your statement depending upon your card issuer.
Tansmith Limited Warranty:
The limited warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship for full 180 days (applicable to resident of U.S and Canada only) from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, at our option, we will repair or replace your product (with an equivalent product if your product is no longer available) only if we find that the product has any type of manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover damages that result from an accident, misuse, abuse and normal wear and tear. Incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use of time or similar expenses are not recoverable under this warranty.
